The usual ferry route runs from Dagebüll to Wyk on Föhr. Check current sailings with the Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei and allow enough time to reach the harbour. If you plan to bring a car, arrange the vehicle booking early in your travel planning. You can also leave your car on the mainland. On Föhr, buses and bicycles help connect your accommodation, villages and beaches. The island has more than 200 kilometres of signposted cycle routes and five themed routes; Föhr Tourism lists rental providers. Allow breaks and some flexibility for wind and weather. Use current timetables for your return journey rather than old departure times in travel accounts.
